
Fire Chief Simon Davis has served in the fire service for over thirty plus years and became the Corona de Tucson Fire Chief in July of 2015. Prior to his appointment Chief Davis ran his own fire management consulting company upon retiring from the Green Valley Fire District after a twenty-seven-year career. Rising from an entry level firefighter to Paramedic, Station Captain and finally the Fire Chief in 1996.
Chief Davis has served on numerous boards over the years including as President of the Arizona Fire District Association, Pima County Chiefs Association. He holds numerous professional fire certifications, is a Fire Instructor trainer and Fire Board Member educator. Chief Davis resides in Green Valley with his wife of 33 years, Shirlei, and two very small dogs… and to beat the aging process has taken up competing in triathlons (it’s not working!).
